Swachh Bharat

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) or Clean India Mission was a country-wide campaign from 2014 to 2019, to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management (SWM) in urban and rural areas in India. The objectives of the mission also included eradication of manual scavenging, generating awareness and bringing about a behavior change regarding sanitation practices, and augmentation of capacity at the local level. Initiated by the Government of India, the mission aimed to achieve an "open-defecation free" (ODF) India by 2 October 2019, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi.

In the rural areas they are many poor people who cannot spend money on their health or for buying medicines.so, Santhi Welfare did a free mega medical camp with the help of ONGC for this good work many doctors came forward for treatment and also we donated free medicines for the people.This programme held on 1-07-2018 to 15-07-2018

On the awareness of swachh bharat Santhi Welfare conducted competitions like drawing and SI writing to the children's in the several schools with the help ONGC and people who are involved in this programme are staff of santhiwelfare and the local parties.This event held on 11-7-18 — at Kovvur, West Godavari district.



On the awareness of swachh bharat Santhi Welfare did a tree plantation programme across the streets with the help of ONGC.
